We are pleased to welcome back the Will Rogers Medallion Awards to Claremore and Tulsa for their celebration weekend!  


With events scheduled each day, it’s a great opportunity to meet your favorite Western authors and actors. Below are the activities that are open to the public with free admission!


Wednesday, October 28

6 p.m. Will Rogers Author Posse - Free Admission

A wine and cheese event will allow local residents and guests to meet selected WRMA 2026 award-winning authors, who will be available in stations throughout the museum to sign and talk about their books.

Friday, October 30

8:30 a.m.- 4 p.m. – Craft of Writing the West Conference - Free admission

A free event designed to help writers of all levels preserve and advance Western literature. It offers practical guidance on storytelling, publishing, and marketing while connecting authors directly with industry professionals to support their long-term careers. Featured speakers: Meredith Blevins, Anne Hillerman, Chris Enss, Jull Krefft, Kathleen and Mike Gear, Art Burton, Barry Corbin, Bruce Boxleitner, and Dean Butler. 7 p.m. - An Evening with Will - Free Admission

Barry Corbin, Bruce Boxleitner, Rob Word, Dean Butler, and Jennifer Rogers will read five of Will Rogers’ most popular radio commentaries before a live studio audience. The evening will be hosted by Jennifer Rogers, along with Tanner Messer from KVOO and Tess Maune from News On 6. Please RSVP here.
