Celebrate the 145th Birthday of Will Rogers
Thursday, October 31
10 a.m. Will Rogers Motion Picture Festival
The festival features G and PG-rated films from artists worldwide. The festival entries will be screened daily in the Will Rogers Theatre. Screenings run Wednesday, October 30, through Friday, November 1, and admission is free.

6-8 p.m. Halloween at the Museum
Bring the kids to the museum for safe trick-or-treating! Local businesses provide candy, and children can participate in a costume contest. Admission is free.
Saturday, November 2
8 a.m. - Cherokee Nation Will Rogers Memorial 5K and Fun Run
The course winds through the beautiful RSU Conservation Education Reserve and across the university campus.
10 a.m. - Pocahontas Club Luncheon and Wreath-Laying
The Pocahontas Club will hold its traditional “Hats Off to Will” wreath-laying at 10 a.m., followed by entertainment and a luncheon. Admission is free.
3 p.m. – Will Rogers Days Parade
This year's Will Rogers Days Parade in Claremore will be broadcast on RSUTV, to all of Northeastern Oklahoma! This year's theme is "Will Rogers For President" and registration is free. Awards will be given for Best Business Float, Best Non-Profit Float, Best Church Float and Grand Champion!
4 p.m. – Will Rogers' Birthday Party with trick ropers Kevin and Will Fitzpatrick
Immediately following the parade, the Memorial Museum will host a birthday party with cake, inflatables, and a performance by World Champion Trick Roper Kevin Fitzpatrick and his son Will Fitzpatrick. Plus we’re giving away a Nintendo Switch! (Open to kids 15 and under, must be present to win.) No admission is required.
6 p.m. – Will Rogers Motion Picture Festival Reception
7 p.m. – Dog Iron Awards Ceremony

4 p.m. – Book Signing and Conversation with Steven Watts
Author Steven Watts, will be here to discuss his newest book, Citizen Cowboy: Will Rogers and the American People. He will have copies of his book available for purchase.
