The Ropin‘ Fool was produced by Will Rogers to display his extraordinary skills with a lariat and his dexterity as a trick roper. Directed by Clarence g. Badger with Marcel Le Picard as the cameraman, the film was a landmark utilization of "slow motion photography."Released in 1922, it drew rave reviews for technique as well as performance. Will Rogers stars as 'Ropes' Reilly and wrote the screenplay and titles. Narrated by Will Rogers, Jr.
