Staff from the Tourist Information Center near Sallisaw is prepared to answer questions about attractions in Claremore. A group from the Center visited Claremore’s J.M. Davis Gun Museum, Belvedere Mansion, downtown Claremore shops and the Will Rogers Memorial. Manager Linda Sizemore and Agnes Barker acquaint themselves with Will Rogers’ Vaudeville days in the Will Rogers museum south gallery. Shelley Girten learns about the book Betty Rogers wrote about her husband after his death — and one of Betty’s favorite paintings. Sizemore said Center staff frequently gets requests for information about the Will Rogers Memorial and other things to do in Claremore.
