Cherokee Chief Chad Smith spoke of the Will Rogers' Cherokee Nation of Today, Will Rogers Museum Director Steve Gragert of Will Rogers the Writer, Cherokee Councilor and Will Rogers Memorial Commission Member Cara Cowan Watts of Will Rogers, Cherokee Citizen; and Claremore Will Rogers Library FOL President Jon Douthitt and Library Director Fernando Este of the Claremore Library and Will's contribution that provided the first public library facility

Fry bread on the menu
Kenna Eastira and Shirley Ross roll out fry bread for Joanne Davis to cook for the lunch menu served to guests of the Friends of Library of Oklahoma and Oklahoma Library Association sponsored Literary Landmark event. The Cherokee Nation hosted the lunch to about 150 guests.
