Steve Gragert, Will Rogers Museums director, views preliminary plans for a new domestic abuse shelter for Safenet Services Inc. with Donna Grabow, director, and Susan Wolfenbarger, volunteer and events coordinator. Gragert presented Safenet with a check for a little more than $900, a third of the proceeds from a barn sale at the Will Rogers Dog Iron Ranch, primarily of excess items from stock of the Museum gift shop. Safenet is anticipating a facility of about 8,600 square feet to serve 25 people. The present facility, the first ever for Rogers County, opened in 1991. The same amounts will be presented to the Oolagah Historical Society and for use in placing a picket fence around the Will Rogers birthplace home.
