Electric cooperative subscribers like Will Rogers Memorial

Once again, Will Rogers and the Will Rogers Memorial Museum in Claremore have been picked as favorites among Rural Electric Cooperative users. In a contest for “favorites” in the “Best of Oklahoma Living,” Will Rogers Memorial is one of the three finalists in the “Historic Landmark” category.

In a two-phase system, three of the top favorites in an earlier ballot appear in the September issue of Oklahoma Living, distributed to rural electric coop users. The other historical landmarks are OKC National Memorial and Fort Gibson.

Other categories are book, agritourism destination, Oklahoma made product, sports coach, haunted location, local band and diner.

To cast your vote, clip the ballot from Page 16 of the Oklahoma Living issue. Entries must be original copies of the monthly publication. There is an extra incentive to respond. If you vote in at least four categories, you will be entered to win one of three $100 credits on your electric bill. Prizewinners for credits will be selected by random drawing.

Last year, Oklahoma Living readers picked Will Rogers as the “Oklahoma Favorite” famous person.
