Parading

Surrey

Coming in from the Oologah, Indian Territory, Will Rogers Dog Iron Ranch for the Will Rogers Day Parade will be Clem and Mary Rogers (ranch managers Jim and Debbie Williams) with their children Willie and Sallie (the Williams’ grandchildren Dallas “Boots” and Alyssa) in their surrey with the fringe on top. E.J. Snider of Chelsea is wagon master. They will be followed by a grownup Will (Andy Hogan, Will Rogers Memorial historical guide and Will Rogers interpreter), always with a rope in hand. The parade, sponsored by Claremore Reveille Rotary will be 4 p.m. Saturday, Nov. 4. (Museum Photos)
