Will Rogers Statue in Clinton Library Oval Office

A replica of the Jo Davidson statue of Will Rogers has a place in the William Jefferson Clinton Presidential Library in Little Rock, Ark. The statue, a replica of the one in the Claremore Will Rogers Museum rotunda and the United States Capitol in Washington, D.C., always had a place in Clinton’s office from the Arkansas Governor’s Office to the White House Oval Office. It is now displayed on a bookshelf of the Oval Office in the library. A duplication of the presidential White House offices is in each of the 14 presidential libraries.
President Clinton received the statue when he was governor of Arkansas and attended the National Governor Conference at Shangri La on Grand Lake.
