Ryu, Jae-Hoon, senior staff writer on the international news desk of The Hjankyoreh in Seoul, Korea, visited the Will Rogers Memorial Museum as a part of the Tulsa Global Alliance program. Andy Hogan, museum guide, presented him with a copy of Joe Carter’s “Never Met a Man I Didn’t Like.” Ryu and Bruce Kim of the U.S. Department of State also visited the Claremore Progress and Tulsa World during the tour of northeast Oklahoma. “He was a real hero in the U.S,” Ryu said, “in other countries we see him as a genuine American. In Korea we know him as a true American hero.” The visitors went from here to Yellowstone National Park and Jackson, Wyo.
