Color guard from Cherokee Nation Talking Leaves Job Corps present the colors for the wreath-laying ceremony marking the Aug. 15, 1935 anniversary of Will Rogers' death in an Alaskan plane crash.

Clem McSpadden, Doris "Coke" Lane Meyer and Bob McSpadden, grand-niece and grand-nephews of Will Rogers, place a wreath at the family tomb on the grounds of Will Rogers Memorial Museum in Claremore on the anniversary of his death Aug. 15, 1935 in an Alaskan plane crash. Clem McSpadden and Mrs. Meyer vividly recall the day. Bob McSpadden was an infant when his great-uncle died.
