
Heartland Express, a band originating with identical twin brothers, will entertain at the Will Rogers & Wiley Post Fly-In under shade trees on the grounds near the house where Will Rogers was born in 1879.
Planes from a four-state area will be landing on a grass strip adjacent to the house. Spectators can enjoy the music of the bluegrass band while viewing planes and visiting with pilots. The band will play before a 9 a.m. program and following the program, according to Steve Gragert, Will Rogers Museums director.

Voices of Mike and Eddie Bostic blend with Jo Morton, the female vocalist.
Mike, who plays mandolin, and Eddie, who plays guitar, has been playing since 1963. Together they formed Uptown Bluegrass in 1971, which won the National Band Championship in 1975. Eddie is the Oklahoma State Guitar Champion. The formed Heartland Express in 1977.
They have shared the stage with Vince Gill, Wayland Patton, Ricky Skaggs and Jerry Douglas.
Heath Todd joined the band in 1996, originally as a bass player, while Phillip Bostic, Mike’s son played banjo. When Phillip left, Heath took over the banjo.
The newest member of the band is bass player Tim Francis. He played with Wild Mountain three years until joining Heartland Express in 2003.
Morton, lead and harmony vocal, originally joined the Bostics in a band known as Lonesome Pine in 2002. When that band ended, she joined Heartland Express.
