The latest issue of American Cowboy, now on newsstands, features a full page of color photos and news copy on Will Rogers Memorial in Claremore and the Oologah Ranch birthplace.
Jesse Mullins, editor-in-chief, calls attention to the Will Rogers Wild West Expo; Charlie Keyes of Wisconsin, who set a Guinness record in men’s big loop at the 2006 competition; and Kim Minks of Idaho, who set a women’s big loop record here in 2005.
He mentions the close proximity to Woolaroc in Bartlesville and Gilcrease in Tulsa.
