Unique opportunity comes to Memorial

Will Rogers Memorial visitors had a unique opportunity — to meet two women who played Will Rogers’ twin daughters in a 1933 movie. Glorea and Cleora Robb, were just 11 when they played “Winnie and Minnie” in a movie which took them across the country in a car trip.

There are few people left who worked in the movies or on stage with Will.

The sisters and their younger sister, Louanne, who was a showgirl in “The Will Rogers Story,: starring Will Rogers Jr., greeted visit ors during a public reception at the museum and signed copies of the movies’ lobby poster, which hangs in the Memorial Theatre. They also cut a cake decorated in a replica of the “Mr. Skitch” movie poster.
