Sunday, August 15, Will Rogers-Wiley Post Fly-In, Will Rogers Birthplace Ranch grass strip, celebrating the lives of W ill Rogers and Wiley Post and marking the 75th anniversary of their death in an Alaskan airplane crash. Fly-in of small planes, children’s activities, antique and classic car show, music, food vendors and tours of house were Will Rogers was born Nov. 4, 1879.

Tribute to memory of Will Rogers and Wiley Post
November 4-6,Will Rogers Days, celebrating the 131st birthday of Oklahoma’s favorite son with a birthday party at the Oologah ranch, Pocahontas Indian Women’s Club tribute at Claremore Memorial Museum, Children’s Day at the Museum and Saturday parade down Will Rogers Blvd.
